our story

Ten Years in the Making

It all began at Mardi Gras, on Amelia Street in New Orleans, when our dear friends Emily and Hunter introduced us. Beatriz made the first move and asked Brenden for his Twitter. It was all love from there. One month later, it was official.

From the same college classrooms to new jobs and every one of life's obstacles in between, we grew up side by side. Ten years later, we are still choosing each other every single day. Now we say "I do" in the city that brought us together.

"He's the love of my life, and my angel."

FAQ

What is the dress code?
Formal attire — long dresses for women and suits for men. Our bridesmaids will be in deep olive green, so feel free to complement (or simply avoid matching) the wedding party.
Can I bring my children?
We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults-only, except for children specifically invited by the couple. We hope this gives you a night off to dance with us!
Where should I park?
[Parking details coming soon — valet / street parking info will go here.] Rideshare to and from the venue is highly recommended.
What is a second line?
A beloved New Orleans tradition! A brass band leads the newlyweds and guests in a joyful parade, handkerchiefs waving, music playing. When the band strikes up, follow along and celebrate with us.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Please be seated by 6:50; the ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 PM.
